Tequila Poker

Tequila Poker is one of the most popular online casino card games. It's played with a single 52-card deck. Tequila Poker has two game modes for the same hand –once the first 4 cards are dealt, players must choose which game mode they would like to play, then the player receives two more cards for a total of six. The best five out of six cards are used to create a winning hand.

The two game modes are High Tequila and Tequila Poker. In this form players do not compete against a dealer or other players, and the outcome is decided on a value determined in advance. Players need to decide which mode they would like to pursue after the first four cards have been dealt, and in all players are dealt six cards. The winning hand in both forms is determined from the best five of the six cards that are dealt. While Tequila Poker uses the classical system based on five card ranking, High Tequila is based on a points system with the Ace carrying the highest value of 11, all cards with a picture having a value of 10 and other cards equal to the value of the number on them.

In Tequila Poker you cannot really employ any poker strategy as there are no regular game stages like pre-flop, flop, turn or driver and you cannot draw your cards. So you just have to play the cards you get and hope they're good. However, you may choose your game mode after you receive the first 4 cards. Therefore here's and advice on which game to choose when you have to make the decision: if you have a pair, a four-card straight or a four-card flush draw, you should make a bet and play Tequila Poker; in case three of your highest cards have a total of 28 points or more you should bet and play High Tequila; if your hand suits both, the decision which game mode to choose lies with you; if none of the previous is true, it's best to fold your hand.
