Caribbean Stud Poker
Caribbean Stud Poker is a table game with rules similar
to Caribbean five-card stud poker and the progressive jackpot. Caribbean Stud
Poker is played with one standard deck of 52 cards. Player makes an Ante wager.
Each player and the dealer get five cards each. All cards are dealt face down,
except one dealer card is exposed. Players are not allowed to view each other’s
cards. If player folds he forfeits his cards, ante bet, and side bet. If player
raises, then he must make a raise wager exactly equal to twice the ante. The
dealer must have an ace and a king or higher to qualify. If the dealer does not
qualify, you take home twice your initial ante. If the dealer qualifies, but
you have a better hand, you receive twice your ante bet and a payout on the
raise bet that varies in accordance with the pay table shown in the game. If the
dealer qualifies and beats you, you lose your ante and raise.
To win the progressive jackpot, you must have
played side bet and put together the royal flush. If the player has a straight
flush, he gets 10% of the progressive jackpot. Besides progressive jackpot, you
can also win bonus payouts - 4 of a kind is paid 500:1, Full house – 100:1, and
Flush – 50:1. While offering a great deal of advantages for the player, Caribbean
Stud Poker has very low progressive jackpot side bets.
