Something interesting happened to a taxi driver, who works for a leading taxi company in Las Vegas. When he was at the destination, a hotel doorman has noticed a brown paper bag on the back seat of his taxi. At a glance, Gerardo thought it was a parcel of candy, by judging it from the outer appearance. On his way, he had to stop at a traffic light, where he spotted the content inside the brown paper was cash.

He was amazed by that discovery and told the passenger that he is the witness of this incident. Then he has called his dispatcher immediately. The taxi driver took six bundles of $100 bills to the main office of Checker Star Cab in Vegas, where the police and casino officials linked it to the casino player, who owned the money.

The officials took several hours in order to verify the owner of cash bundle and return him the cash. The taxi driver was quite surprised all this time and he said that he did not expect anything in return for the great work he did. Moreover he said that he wanted to do the right thing and return the parcel to the cash owner. However, the passenger handed over $10,000 to the taxi owner to appreciate the good work of the taxi driver. The Checker Star Cab Company also rewarded his by assigning him as the employee of the year along with a cash reward of $1,000 and a gift certificate for a holiday.
